Who are physicians?

A physician is commonly also referred to medical practitioners, medical doctors, or simply doctors.  A physician is known to be a professional who practices medicine that caters to the promotion, maintenance, and restoration of human health. Such promotion, maintenance, and restoration of human health include the study of the situation, diagnosis of the problems and the disease, prognosis, and the entire treatment process of the disease.  This whole process also stands true in cases of accidents, mental illness, physical illness, and any kind of minor or major injuries.

What do physicians do? 

Every physician has a different focus of practice. Physicians primarily specialize in a particular type of disease category, and with every such type, the types of patients and the method of treatments change.  Certain physicians also assume responsibilities for the reason of performing special dedicated and comprehensive responsibilities in the field of medical care, which cater to individuals, families, or communities. These kinds of physicians are known as General practitioners. For a person to become a physician, it takes a proper degree of education. This degree includes detailed knowledge of academic nature, which includes topics like anatomy, psychology, and underlying diseases along with their intensive treatment methods and other responsibilities.  The different kinds of degrees and qualifications to become a physician includes MBBS, MD, MDCM, DO, and DPM.

3.]  the candidate should be interviewed a multiple numbers of times or at least more than once in different kinds of situations or should be given some sort of training and guidelines to make him work more efficiently and fluently.

4.]  Most of the interviews of the candidate should be recorded for future use and should be well documented so that there are proofs of what the physician claims to be capable of.

5.]  During the physician recruitment process, correct details of compensation that is to be given to the physician should be discussed in advance, and all the negotiations are to be done before the physician begins his or her job.

6.] Every document and proof, including certificates presented by the physician, should be correctly verified and checked before he or she should start with her job.  The authenticity of these documents should be appropriately verified and should be kept under records for future purposes.

7.]  Once the candidate has been finalized for the recruitment, it is essential to assure that he or she goes through proper training for at least six months and gain adequate experience to do justice to the job.

In such cases, not only the physician will be held responsible, but also the hospital and the nursing home authorities will be held equally accountable and will be answerable to the patient party.
